Disaster Designs Frida Kahlo - 2 in 1 Tote Bag
Mexican artist Frida Kahlo is remembered for her self-portraits, pain and passion, and bold, vibrant colours. Frida had a lot of suffering in her life with a back story that includes childhood polio, a tumultuous love life, a tragic accident that left her with severe pain and disability. Inspired by the country's popular culture, she employed a naïve folk-art style to explore questions of identity, postcolonialism, gender, class and race in Mexican society.
This Frida Kahlo Tote and Clutch Bag from Disaster Designs is a 2-in-1 tote bag with a smaller removable envelope clutch bag that you can use separately or tuck inside the inner pocket of the tote, where it lines up with the main design and extends it.
The clutch has magnetic closures and comes with a detachable wrist strap for that extra bit of security. The interior is yellow and grey with the Frida Kahlo signature very prominent on the inside design. The reverse of the clutch has a quote from Frida Kahlo “I paint flowers so they will not die”
The tote has a large pocket which can either be used as extra storage or to keep the clutch in to add to the design. Includes a mustard, suede effect tassel and a fabric charm with a portrait of Frida.
