Parafina Screen/Reading Glasses - JUCAR Black

Reading glasses made from 100% recycled tyre rubber. They include a blue light filter.

Rubber, the material from which tyres are made, is one of the most informative waste on the planet. By recycling it, we try to give it a second chance and turn it into a durable use good. Reading JÚCAR is a resistant, flexible and light glasses. It is available in presbyopia graduation from 1.00 to 3.50. The lenses, made of polycarbonate, are antireflective and include screen protection, filtering the blue light emitted by electronic devices and which is harmful to our eyes.

Parafina is a transformative lifestyle brand with a lofty objective: to offer designer eyewear in eco-friendly materials at a revolutionary price while leading the way for socially conscious businesses. We live by our tagline, “See Beyond Trash” This experimental ethos is what makes us who we are. Through constant experimentation with materials, design, and manufacturing techniques, Parafina Co. aims to reinvent the eyewear market and reintroduce consumers to products that are thoughtfully designed and carefully crafted.

If you are not familiar with Parafina, our business philosophy is rooted in the concept of Giving. It all started in 2014 when founders Alfonso de Luján and Samuel Soria befriended children in a village in Paraguay and found they had a very difficult access to education. Wanting to help, they created Parafina, a company that would finance education programs with every pair of eyewear sold along with other social activities.

We donate 5% of every purchase to our social project #LlévaleAlCole..

All our glasses are made with recycled materials.
