Parafina Screen/Reading Glasses - Lena

Reading glasses made of 100% recycled HDPE (plastic) with a premium manufacturing system and a special hinge system. They include a blue light filter.

HDPE plastic (High Density Polyethylene), from detergent, shampoo and similar containers, is the material from which the LENA reading model is made. It is a resistant, lightweight spectacle and is available in presbyopia graduations from 1.00 to 2.50. The lenses, made of polycarbonate, are antireflective and include screen protection, filtering out the blue light emitted by electronic devices, which is harmful to our eyes.

Parafina is a transformative lifestyle brand with a lofty objective: to offer designer eyewear in eco-friendly materials at a revolutionary price while leading the way for socially conscious businesses. We live by our tagline, “See Beyond Trash” This experimental ethos is what makes us who we are. Through constant experimentation with materials, design, and manufacturing techniques, Parafina Co. aims to reinvent the eyewear market and reintroduce consumers to products that are thoughtfully designed and carefully crafted.

If you are not familiar with Parafina, our business philosophy is rooted in the concept of Giving. It all started in 2014 when founders Alfonso de Luján and Samuel Soria befriended children in a village in Paraguay and found they had a very difficult access to education. Wanting to help, they created Parafina, a company that would finance education programs with every pair of eyewear sold along with other social activities.

We donate 5% of every purchase to our social project #LlévaleAlCole..

All our glasses are made with recycled materials.
